Opening a New Position/Trade

  • Connect your wallet: Ensure your wallet (e.g., MetaMask) is connected to Bitoro Network by clicking "Connect Wallet" at the top of the page.

  • Select the liquidity source: choose between our Orderbook or AMM DEX

  • Select the desired mainnet: you have the option of several mainnets on Bitoro Network, these will be continuously updated for both the Orderbook DEX and AMM DEX.

  • Select the desired asset: Once connected, use the market dropdown selection to choose the asset you want to trade.

  • Navigate to the "Place Order" panel: Navigate to the "Place Order" panel, located on the upper-right side of the trading interface.

  • Choose between "Buy/Long" and "Sell/Short": Click on "Buy" to open a long position (speculating that the asset's price will rise) or "Sell" to open a short position (speculating that the asset's price will decline).

  • Enter the order amount: You can enter the order amount manually or by dragging the leverage slider. Adjust the size of your position based on the desired leverage.

  • Place the order: After setting the order amount and leverage, click the "Place Order" button. A notification will appear in your wallet, prompting you to confirm the transaction. Once confirmed, your order will be placed and executed via Bitoro Network and you will able to see your newly opened position in the "Positions" tab below the chart.
